ADULT EDUCATION - BIBLE STUDY

THURSDAY BIBLE STUDY

Do your prayers ever seem like one-sided conversations? Though prayer is essential to a thriving faith, we may often feel as if we’re talking to ourselves… or worse, to no one at all.  How can something so vital to our spiritual lives be so elusive?

If you are interested in deepening your prayer life, please join us for our newest bible study.  In this 6-week program, Dr. Tim Gray of the Augustine Institute masterfully uses the Church’s ancient monastic tradition of lectio divina to show you the simple steps to make prayer an effective effort of love and intimacy.

The Lectio Divina series will run from 9-11 am each Thursday morning from January 12 through February 16 in PAC Hall.

Please contact Glenn Stengel at wcmconwaydc@aol.com or at 843-602-7551 to register.  Cost is $25 for the participant study guide.
