The flowers in the church this week are for the glory of God and in loving memory of John Maggi, from his wife Janet Maggi; and also in honor of Barbara & Landon Stultz 1st Wedding Anniversary from Norma & Bob Bannan.
Weekly flower intentions are available throughout the year. The cost is $65 per arrangement which will be on the altar for the weekend and week following. The Bishop’s Annual Appeal (BAA) is a primary source of funding to help sustain and expand ministries of the 96 parishes, 21 missions, 34 Catholic Schools, and agencies throughout the diocese. Each year, every Catholic in the diocese is asked to respond in prayer, in sharing their talents, and in making a sacrificial gift in support of this important appeal.

O Heavenly Father, all the elements of nature obey your commands, including hurricanes. Calm the storms that threaten us and turn our fear of Your power into praise of Your goodness.
